When someone is dumbstruck, they are so shocked and surprised that they can’t speak. People may be dumbstruck after hearing amazingly good or amazingly bad news. They may be dumbstruck after winning the lottery, or after an unforeseen tragedy. Today can be interpreted a few ways. It may be a day to embrace the feeling of being dumbstruck if it arises. Sometimes people are embarrassed by feeling dumbstruck, but today they don’t have to be! This also is a day when people may act like they are dumbstruck, or try to make others feel dumbstruck.

Dumbstruck Day is being observed today! It has always been observed annually on March 15th.
